About this event

The University of Iowa, in partnership with the Parkinson’s Foundation, presents a free educational event for patients with Parkinson’s Disease and their caregivers. The University of Iowa is one of 48 medical centers (including 34 in the United States) around the world designated as a Center of Excellence by the Parkinson’s Foundation. Experts from the Movement Disorders Division in the Neurology Department at the University of Iowa Health Care will discuss:

  • Physical symptoms and management strategies in advanced Parkinson's disease
  • Memory decline and psychiatric symptoms and what can be done about them
  • Care for the Caregiver: tips, coping skills, and planning for the future

The registration deadline is April 24 at 8 a.m.
